Another day on dA, another bunch of photos of cats taken by mobile phones.
Does it surprise me? No. Does it still annoy me, after all these times I've seen it happen and even though I've almost become inactive on dA? Well yes.
I wouldn't pass for an expert in "art", even if I wanted to. But this has gone too far, sometimes I think dA has become worse than facebook, a social network consisted of 13 year-olds with lame cameras on mobile phones, cats as pets and the oh so tiring notion that a photo of themselves, with their face half hidden by their hair, looking away from the camera as if they didn't know they were being photographed, but all the while making their armpit visible to the camera, since, well, it's very difficult to photograph yourself with your phone and avoid including your friggin' underarm.
Let me borrow the words of a dear friend, even though he doesn't talk about cats. Either way, the message is of the same family.
